Feature
Every statutory deadline, computed from your own dates.
The calendar is generated from your fiscal year end, your meeting dates, your study dates, your contract dates and your inspection dates, using the Ontario or Florida rules pack.
Board reality
Why this is hard for a volunteer board
The statute says within six months of the fiscal year end, and at least 15 days before. Every board has its own dates, so every board's calendar is different, and nobody wrote it down.
The mechanism
How the butler handles it
- Step 1
Your dates become obligations
Enter your fiscal year end and the butler instantiates every obligation in your rules pack with its due date, responsible role, required evidence and the consequence of missing it, in dollars or in liability. - Step 2
Each obligation carries its workflow
The annual return, the budget notice, the reserve funding plan notice, the AGM notice, the records response. Completing the work completes the obligation and attaches the proof. - Step 3
A statute change arrives as a notice
When a statute changes, affected corporations get a plain-language notice: what changed, what you must now do, by when, and the workflow to do it.
Record output
What it produces
The obligation calendar, statutory forms and filing proof.
Director training tracking for both jurisdictions, with the cadence each one sets.
Insurance compliance, website posting completeness, and penalty exposure in dollars.
Personal liability warnings, and a compliance certificate you can hand to an insurer, lender or purchaser.
Rules pack
Ontario and Florida
Each jurisdiction is a rules pack, and the citation travels with the obligation.
The Ontario pack covers the Condominium Act, 1998 and its regulations including CAO filings and director training. The Florida pack covers Chapters 718 and 720 including DBPR reporting, the 4-hour director course and website posting rules. Citations are shown on every obligation.
Board questions
Questions boards ask
What happens if we change our fiscal year end?
Every dependent due date is recomputed and the change is logged.
Is the calendar behind a higher plan?
No. Every compliance feature is in every plan, by policy.
Who is responsible for each item?
Each obligation names a role. The home screen ranks the next three things by consequence.
